How It Works: The Path to Certification
To be fully licensed to drive a lift truck, OSHA requires three components:
- Theory Training: Complete the General OSHA Principles and your specific truck class course online.
- Lift Truck Specific Courses: Once you have the foundation, you must train on model specific OSHA training. Select Class 1,4, & 5, Class 2, and or Class 3.
- Battery/Fuel Safety: For safety training pertaining to safe motive fuel handling, click here. Complete the specific power source training (Electric/LPG).
- Practical Evaluation: Use our Forklift Safety Practicum for a video-based performance review by certified trainers.
Trusted by Safety Managers
“Forklifts are essential, but they come with serious risks. Our series ensures compliance while reinforcing a genuine safety culture to reduce your liability.”
